How we give back
At Eliga, we strongly believe in giving back to the community and supporting charitable causes.
As well as regular donations, as a digital transformation agency, we also offer free consultancy to charities.
We’re always looking to help where we can and be a positive influence among our communities and within our areas of influence.
Below are the charities we’re currently supporting and have supported recently.
Children’s Air Ambulance
Since partnering with Children’s Air Ambulance, Eliga has donated the equivalent of £3,500 through services. We have gone on to expand our support to also encompass The Air Ambulance Service and we have an ongoing commitment to these vital causes.
So far, our donated expertise has enabled these charities to work more efficiently, provide better support to their donors and customers, and most importantly, raise more money to fund more lifesaving missions.
Surrey Wildlife Trust
In April 2022, for World Earth Day, we donated £2000 to the Surrey Wildlife Trust – £50 per Eliga employee.
This initiative between Surry Wildlife Trust and Surrey County Council has the goal of planting 1.2 million new trees in Surrey by 2030.
Surrey Wildlife Trust is a wildlife charity and is one of 46 Wildlife Trusts working across the UK.
It cares for over 6,500ha of land for wildlife in Surrey. The Trust also works with other organisations and landowners to protect and connect wildlife sites across the county and inspire local communities and young people to care for wildlife where they live.
Kids Cancer Charity
We choose to support Kids Cancer Charity as organisations like these sometimes don’t get the same level of support and funding that other, more well-known charities do.
To help the charity last year, we held a bake sale which raised £335. Our CEO, Graham, then matched this amount enabling us to donate £670 in total.
These funds paid for a family from Guildford with a child living with cancer to go on a much-needed holiday.
